BCLOUD Paradigm
The information market and the management of Flash and Trash data
BCLOUD is mainly active in the Software Defined world with many solutions and mainly in the Storage segment.
Storage is divided into three major realities:
– That of Direct Attach or internal storage servers;
– that of the NAS Network Attached, widespread to manage many data without performance;
– That of the SAN Storage Area Network the most performing and widespread.
In the last few years, two other storage architectures have been established:
– The “Trash” architecture or that of the Object Storage, for example used by large providers to contain the large amounts of data that are created daily. It is a scalable architecture that can handle 10 Terabytes to hundreds of Petabytes.
– The SDS Software Defined Storage architecture, which in generalist terms can be defined as “Flash”, ie able to supply hundreds of thousands of IOPS as I / O units of measure per second. This architecture manages from a few tens of Terabytes to a few hundred Terabytes.
